CRAFT Challenge #731- Christmas

For the next 2 weeks, the theme at CRAFT Challenge is "Christmas".

For my card, I have used the "Frosty the Snowman Tree Time" image from Polkadoodles, the snowflake paper (Snowflake Splendor DSP) is from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment (Christmas Cheer digital set) is from Gracielle Designs, the glitter card  is from my stash.

Missing in Action

My apologies that I have been missing in action for the past couple of weeks. We've had a family matter to deal with. 

Today, I would like to share with a set of 3 tags that I made for an Open Theme challenge with Craftin' Round the World Challenges (it's a public Facebook group).

I have used items that I had sitting on my desk, left over from other projects - a mix of fussy cut images and paper straws, corrugated cardstock, cheesecloth.

Lost in Space Artitst Trading Cards

 I purchased some "space" themed paper months ago, not really knowing what I was going to do with it. 

There was a swap in a Facebook Craft Group that I'm in, where the theme was "Lost in Space" Artist Trading Cards. I grabbed the paper and purchased some space themed images from Etsy. I added 2 sentiments from a Stampin' Up stamp set and one sentiment from Beccys Place. 

I love the way that they turned out. They are quite simple but they work well for the swap theme.

Mixed Media Tags

 Today, I'm sharing 3 mixed media tags that I made for a swap in a Facebook Craft group that I'm in. 

Must admit, I had no idea what I wanted to do when I started. So I just grabbed some die cuts, music and book paper, vellum and cheesecloth, texture paste, stencils, watercolours and some fussy cut images from a range of Mintay books.

I was inspired by the work of Marta from Maremi Small Art. After watching one of her videos, I kind of knew what I was going to do. 

Here is what I did....

Faux Postage Stamps

 I'm in a Facebook Craft group where we do monthly swaps. One of the themes was "Faux Stamps". 

So off to check what stamps I have in my stash to see what I can use. My swap partner has recently added a few chickens. So I knew that I wanted to add chickens on my stamps. 

I've used a variety of Stampin' Up stamps. 

I just love the way that they turned out.

 Afternoon everyone. Today it's the start of a new theme for 2 weeks at CRAFT Challenge. The theme is CHRISTMAS.
